Moreover, this Toro sprinkler controller will be replacing the DDCWP series and is a good sprinkler controller alternative for the Rainbird ESP9V.
The Toro Tempus DC Controller is RainSensor-ready, and this upgrade means your controller will detect when there is enough rain to justify skipping a cycle.
