I chose this front yard
because it was about to have
the lawn replaced anyway
This homeowner didn't mind
me experimenting on his
front yard
Did I mention this was my
place
The first step was to
excavate the lawn. Bob
Johnson from Groundhog Lawn
Sprinklers was kind enough
to help
Because the lawn and soil
were horrible, we simply
hauled it all away
Areas that the machine could
not reach had to be dug out
by hand, in the end we
removed approximately 4" off
the entire area
After the soil was removed
the area was raked level
Using a tape measure I
started off by flagging out
where the tees would be
installed on the header and
footer lines. This allowed
me to pre install the tees
before running the emitter
line
All the tees were installed
This gave me a complete
looping line around the
perimeter of the yard
Notice all laterals connect
back to the main eliminating
any ends
