  • Next I simply rolled out each run and connected it to the header line

  • One simple but key component was stakes. I made sure that every portion of the system was well secured to prevent movement during backfill and inhibit the pipe from working its way to the surface in the future.

  • I left all lines disconnected from the footer line to allow proper flushing.

  • After all was said and done about 1100' of Rootguard emitter line was used on the front yard

  • Probably the most important part of the installation is flushing the lines

  • With the water running I worked my way from one end to the other ensuring that any debris was removed from the lines

  • With all the lines hooked up and flushed it was time to test

  • I was quite impressed with the fact that with about 1100 emitters running at once they were very consistent and not 1 was plugged

  • You can really see how they soak into each other after running for about 1/2 hour. The area soaked will increase once they are covered in soil
